My Summer OOTD Formula

My foolproof formula for a perfectly breezy summer outfit is one that’s wearable from beach to street: (shopping in Venice anyone?). And like a good song, it’s a look you can replay over and over. Here, I’m breaking it down for you, so add it to your summer playlist and hit repeat! Here’s how it goes…

SHOP THE LOOK: FLORAL MINI DRESSES

Number one, what makes this outfit a go-to for me, is the boho mini dress in the shape known as the pop-over dress. A pop-over dress is just that: a throw-it-on style. No zipper or buttons required. Which makes it perfect for summer days including the beach or a pool party, because you can throw a swimsuit underneath, no problem-o. Just switch out your bag from a straw tote to a leather crossbody like I did to make the look more or less casual. 

Choose a dress with the very boho vibe of a floral wallpaper print (think Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic aesthetic on clothes, swoon!) and you have a soft and pretty daytime look. Next, just add lace-up sandals. Also great for a quick-change. If you choose leather or suede just bring a pair of flip-flops along. I have to say this bag in particular in the softest suede with tassel detail makes it feel just as luxe and special as other Chloe styles I own.
