I believe dressing is an art form and I use fashion to express myself. When I’m not putting my energy into being creative with my clothes or putting pen to paper to write about fashion, I simply feel unexpressed. And it’s the fantasy of fashion that continually draws me back to my creative self.
Stars and style icons from Audrey and Marilyn to Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, all exude that indiscernible magnetism by speaking to our own desires through their clothes, without us even knowing it. I know I’m always trying to figure out how some of my favorite style stars embody their personalities so effortlessly through their clothes. Aren’t you?

Here on Artfully, I want every woman to feel like a starlet so I’ll be breaking down the latest trends behind celebrity-driven fashion and talking about how our favorite fashion muses and brands inspire us.
And on the subject of personal style, I found mine somewhere between NYC high fashion and California’s laid-back bohemian looks so I’ll be sharing lots of style ideas of my own. (Think: the latest trends, lots of black, edgy accessories mixed with femme florals is what I’m wearing now.) After all, I find dressing for myself is the best way to live. And I believe that you can dress to match your intentions and attain your goals. So, that swish-y dress, leopard shoe or bold red lip you’ve been dreaming of, go ahead try it on. Just see where it takes you! My wildest fashion dreams took me here to sharing it all with you.

“My name is Christina, and I am an artist.”
My name is Christina. And I am an artist. I write. I dance. I sing. I write some more. I style clothes. And I blog about it. I’ve worked on the retail floor and as a copywriter for big brands, until I decided I want to be my own boss and wear as many hats as I choose, whether it’s working as stylist or creative director, or pursuing my passions for songwriting, dancing and writing poetry.
Coming to L.A from NYC has been an important journey in realizing my goals. There’s something magical about Los Angeles to live out your dreams, where stars are born and mountains rise up next to beaches and the Hollywood sign stares down as a constant reminder to chase the “Hollywood dream” i.e. your own success. It seems apt I’m finally launching Artfully here, my space to capture fully my life as an artist, the creativity of styling, my new traveling lifestyle and my words, which I hope will inspire you to chase your dreams.
I’ve always been concerned that a love for fashion could seem frivolous. But... sometimes you need to get away, throw on a sun dress, walk on the beach and feel the sun. Like California, fashion is a space to feel free and like a breath of fresh air, fashion is there for all of us to enjoy. And, when you need to take risks and make bold choices, fashion can be that tool to style our lives just as we want to live them, even turn daydreams into fulfilled dreams and the most inspiring realities.
