A Fashion Fairytale
I’m not sure where to begin, but "Once upon a time…” has always been a good place to start. So, a bit of a fairytale can be said to be the inspiration for this post. When choosing this outfit I knew it was a step in the direction I’ve been wanting to take with my style: to a romantic, dreamier place, more in line with the dreams I had when starting this blog. And the life I want to live. I envisioned Artfully as a place to dress up and inspire and as a business that could take my creativity to new heights and me on new pursuits.

Because I’ve always been searching for a place where my outside world could be more in line with the dreams of my inner world. And I’m a strong believer that clothes can manifest our desires. I’m not saying dress like a princess if you want to meet your prince. I’m talking about listening to what’s inside of you and giving yourself a nudge in that direction. Clothes can allow us to open ourselves up to new possibilities because changes in how you dress can range from subtle to dramatic.
Like it or not, we visually communicate things about ourselves subtly and powerfully through our clothes and the world interprets it. And we can speak to ourselves through our clothes as well. So why not tell yourself you deserve to feel good inside and out, you’re allowed to daydream once in awhile and even allow your dreams to play themselves out. Play the part and you may just find soon enough you’re living it.
