Trend to Try: Polka Dots
IMG_7051-edit.JPEG

Sometimes I want to go France, so, I have my ways. A croissant mid-day at a cafe, (si vous plait) while dressing the part can certainly do the trick. Polka dots have always been a sweet detail that conjures Parisian elegance for me. It may be expected, but why fight the allure? The beret is the obvious nod to French dressing. This one is in leather by Eugenia Kim. The top is from Anthropologie and jeans by Alice + Olivia.

If you’re like me just hanging out in coffee shops while getting some work done, why not feel like you’ve been transported somewhere you’ve been longing to go? There are a handful of charming cafes and French-inspired fare here in L.A. from Laduree to La Poubelle, but one place that make me feels French in an instant is La Tropèzienne with award-winning croissants and espresso and coffee with deep, rich European flavor. And the cafe tables are so Parisian. Shop the post to find all my favorite style staples to feel très chic in an instant. À bientôt!
