3 Chic Ways to Wear Animal Prints
The current frenzy for all things animal print has me thinking how I can change up such an eye-catching look throughout the season so as not to get bored. And the answer is, it’s all in how you accessorize. If you’re like me and can’t fight the animal print attraction, stocking up on all things leopard and snake-printed and wanting to wear them head-to-toe, you’re going to love this post.
SHOP THE LOOK: LEOPARD PRINTS
Starting with a leopard skirt from Alice + Olivia, while the temperatures are on the lighter side, I added a white satin-y bodysuit. The rule here, no matter the temperature outside, is to opt for light and bright. A crisp white top looks fresh and gold accessories pop for a look that’s pure luxe. When the print’s the main attraction, opting for those light and bright separates and accessories make this look shine.
Next, to take animal prints into more neutral territory, I added neutral accessories, Nudes, beiges, browns and blacks keep the look soft, subtle and chic, taming an allover animal look. Think about a neutral palette for makeup too. Browns and a nude lip can be very flattering and are a softer way to highlight the trend.
The last and probably my favorite way to wear animal prints this season is to go all out by adding pops of red for a look that is all fire. From lipstick to a red-hot Gucci bag, accessorize with red to stand out and be noticed. My favorite Kendra Scott earrings in red were the perfect complement. This blouse and skirt from Alice + Olivia can be worn separate or together. For more on why leopard prints are a classic you should invest in and how to wear them check out this post.
Whether it’s the wild nature of the print you are attracted or leopard’s surprisingly neutral, softer side, I’ve discovered it’s the versatility of animal prints that make them a look with staying power.
