10, 9, 8…The countdown to New Year’s Eve dressing is on and I’m bringing your 3 stunning ways to add some sparkle to your wardrobe that are sure to amp up any outfit to party-ready status.

Sequin separates really are my favorite and the easiest way to show some sparkle while just adding a pop of glimmer that can really take an outfit to the next level. Some pairings to think about: black jeans and a sequin top,a flowy blouse with a sequin legging, like I did, or a sequin jogger feels slightly more relaxed. Or, just add sequin accessories like a bag or earring and go: so easy!

I’m finding that sequin blazers and bombers add the coolest edge. This one from Rebecca Minkoff with reversible sequins flips from an all-over subtle white to shimmery mirrored silver. I love how you can make random pops of either color. If you waited to the last minute for your NYE look and you’re in a crunch for time, some retailers that are fast on delivery are Revolve, Zappos and Shopbop. Also department stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus have same-day pick-up in stores on limited inventory. Rent-the-Runway and BHLDN are my favorite one-stop shops to get black-tie ready.

For the dressiest of occasions a sequin dress creates a head-to-toe knockout moment with high-shine glamour. I love how the long sleeves of this Aiden Maddox dress from Anthropologie keeps me warm and adds some buttoned-up sophistication to an otherwise short and sexy length. These tassel heels made by Botkier at Shopbop, a Kayu clutch and Mignonne Gavigan earrings all have just the right amount of flare to keep the glam factor on high. Balloons optional.
